Privacy Policy

All processing happens on your device

SLO's wake-word detection, voice commands, and speaker verification run entirely on your phone. No audio recordings, voice profiles, phone numbers, or call metadata ever leave your device. SLO has no backend servers and collects no analytics.

Permissions we request and why

• Phone state — to detect incoming and ended calls so we can duck and restore your music volume.
• Microphone— to listen for the "Hey SLO" wake word while Drive Mode is active. Audio is processed in memory and never stored or transmitted.
• Bluetooth— to detect when your car's audio system connects and enable Drive Mode automatically.
• Physical activity — to detect vehicle motion as a fallback for Drive Mode.
• Notifications — to show the foreground-service status notification Android requires.

Voice enrollment data

If you enable "Only me" mode, a small numeric voice embedding (not a recording) is stored locally on your device. It is deleted when you disable the feature or uninstall the app.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. We receive only an anonymous subscription status — never your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on their processing.
